Software Tester Quality Assurance (m/f/d)

MSP AG is a Hamburg-based IT and software company with expertise in the areas of development, system integration, process consulting and IT service. Our customers include some of Germany's largest retailers from the sectors food, fashion, design, insurance, building, DIY and household supplies, as well as various companies from the service sector.

What you do with us

  • You will take the lead in setting up and establishing QA processes, sometimes across teams. Our Professional Services Team will support you in this process.

  • Once development is complete, you will create test cases as part of concepts for new functions and carry them out. Acceptance criteria and change requests are therefore not foreign words for you and you always have an eye on the big picture. Your test cases will guide you through the depths of clients and servers, macOS, Windows and Linux, Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, Java and web applications, and Adobe InDesign.

  • When your backlog is empty, you go on an explorative search for gaps and bugs in our software products.

  • Unfortunately, nothing works without test documentation. You build up a reputation as a persistent instance of software quality. You are the reason why developers test their code in the GUI before Resolve...

What makes you stand out

  • You have completed an education or degree in IT and have had at least two years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, preferably in an agile environment.

  • You have experience in test case creation, test execution and test reporting.

  • You are confident with MS Windows & MacOS.

  • You ideally have knowledge in Java, Adobe Indesign, Atlassian Jira & Confl uence, Git, Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL.

  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.

  • You like to work in an agile team and enjoy digital trends.

  • You drive topics independently to make MSP and our software a little bit better every day.

  • Optionally, you bring experience in creating automated test cases or an ISTQB Certified Tester certification.

What you can expect

  • At MSP, you work with well-known customers from large corporations to SMEs. Our teams are interdisciplinary and agile, the decision-making processes are short and the hierarchies are flat.

  • You can get involved and help shape the company. Your ideas are welcome and you have the opportunity to follow a steep learning curve. We support you with individual training opportunities that suit you and your talent.

  • You get everything that makes working easy and pleasant: e.g. the latest technical equipment that you can also use at home, an ergonomic workplace in our chic office in the middle of Hamburg-Altona, with very good transport connections, a comfortable kitchen, lounge, event and retreat rooms, foosball, darts, flat screen TV, Playstation, fruit, cool drinks and our welcome office dogs.

  • We meet each other at eye level. Teamwork, openness and an appreciative culture are what make working at MSP so special. Whether it's a summer party, a Christmas party or regular after-work events - we celebrate ourselves, our successes and the family atmosphere.

  • Last but not least: We offer office yoga, mobile massages, a company pension plan and supplementary insurance, an HVV-Profi ticket, 30 days of vacation, a company apartment for family and friends, flexible working hours and regular home office days.
