Network and System Administrator Linux (m/f/d)

MSP AG is a Hamburg-based IT and software company with expertise in the areas of development, system integration, process consulting and IT service. What do you do with us

  • You install, configure and maintain our censhare applications (Java-based) on our customers' Linux systems (Red Hat, CentOS).

  • You take care of the automatic monitoring on the censhare server systems and intervene when something is not running smoothly.

  • You advise our internal teams and customers on the topics of system configuration, updates and sizing, as well as network connectivity.

  • You will assist in censhare user support and in the use of the censhare server systems.

  • Your position is based in our Professional Services Team and you will be an interface between project management, programming and application support.

What sets you apart

  • Ideally, you have completed training as an IT specialist - system integration, a degree in IT or comparable qualifications.

  • You are familiar with the administration of Linux server systems.

  • You have knowledge in the area of networks and firewalls.

  • You have experience with database systems (PostgreSQL, Oracle).

  • Desirable: You have experience with web servers and reverse proxies (e.g. nginx) and their certificates.

  • Ideally, cloud technologies such as AWS and ELK are not foreign words for you.

  • You also have knowledge of Ansible: perfect!

  • The customer is king with you and you like to go into customer contact with confidence.

  • You work independently and at the same time always team-oriented.

  • Your German language skills are fluent (C1) and ideally at native level.
